Drawing heavily on the work of Talking is Teaching, Harvard's Center On The Developing Child, Carnegie Hall's work with Why Making Music Matters, Too Small to Fail, Zero To Three, NAEYC Program Standards, and the best of the best of early childhood music's favorites, we offer a specialized early childhood music program that engages children ages birth through kindergarten and the grownups who love and care for them. Each program will include

• An experienced leader playing guitar, ukulele, or other accompaniment
• Singing, dancing, and rhythmic chants
• Instrument play with egg shakers, drums, scarves, sticks, and other rhythm instruments
• Intentional variations of song writing, actions, and content that promote the development of social emotional skills including group play, individual play, leadership, confidence, self-regulation, and empathy
• Rituals of song and sound, marking the beginning and end of our time together
• A cherished musical time of quiet rest, promoting familial and group connection near the conclusion of every class
